Way too soon after I delivered a child, we decided to pop over to Nafplio and Epidavros while my mom was in town. The Nafplio gelato was great, as always. The Epidavros part was not a highlight for me.

The site itself is pretty cool. It's a fabulously-preserved theater, that still plays hosts to theatrical performances during the summer. The acoustics are good enough that if you run all the way up to the top of the theater, you can still plainly hear the person standing in the center. Epidavros was an ancient site of healing, which is ironic because it is also the site where I overdid it, and got very, very sick.

I'm sorry that I didn't pay close enough attention to the signs to be able to describe all of this old crap to you. I did find it within my power to take some photos. You're very welcome. It wasn't worth it.
